Short description about the package
If you want to become a Rescue Diver, this course is made just for you! Through Rescue Diver program, you will gain the information and abilities necessary to manage scuba diving disaster scenarios, provide first aid, and rescues with confidence and effectiveness. You will gain more information and experience from this course, which will help you become a more independent diver. Training consists of theory classes, skill practice, and actual scenario training. Skills include missing diver searches, handling an unconscious diver, giving emergency oxygen, and helping a scared diver.
It is required to complete the Emergency First Response training, which usually takes place before the rescue course.

Itinerary
Day 1
- On the first day, you will learn the basic fundamental theory to be a rescue diver
- At 6 am, You will be picked up by hotel or you can meet us at Dive Tribe, diving center in Labuan Bajo
Then, we go to the harbour and will arrive by 7 am - Start your training with the PADI learning course for about 2-4 hours
- You will allow to learn about deep dives basic information, procedures, and tips for about 2-4 hours
- At approximately, 12 am you will finish your training and rest
Day 2
- At 6 am, You will be picked up by hotel or you can meet us at Dive Tribe, diving center in Labuan Bajo
Then, we go to the harbour and will arrive by 7 am - You will do 2 dives to practice the rescue skills that you’ve already obtained on the first day
- At 3-4 pm, you will go back to the hotel
- At 6 am, You will be picked up by hotel or you can meet us at Dive Tribe, diving center in Labuan Bajo
Day 3
- At 6 am, You will be picked up by hotel or you can meet us at Dive Tribe, diving center in Labuan Bajo
Then, we go to the harbour and will arrive by 7 am - On the last day, you are expected to be ready to face actual scenario training with 2 dives
- At 3-4 pm, you will receive your PADI certification and go back to the hotel

Cancellation & policies
– Cancellations received before 13:00 on the day prior to the activity booked will not incur a cancellation fee.
– Cancellations received after 13:00 on the day prior to the activity booked, will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of full booked activity cost.
– Cancellations received the same day of the departure for the activity booked, or failure to show (No Show) will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of full activity booked cost.
– Please note that the Dive Centre closes at 18:00 and cancellations incurred after this time will be considered as received on the next day.
Note: Reservations cancelled due to bad weather will not incur a cancellation fee, and customers can choose to either reschedule or receive a full refund for the activity.

The Rescue Diver course is four to seven days long. The PADI eLearning for the Rescue Diver course can be taken at your leisure, from the convenience of your own home or hotel room. This part of the training should last eight to twelve hours.
If you’ve been scuba diving for a while, are over 15 years old, and have completed Emergency First Response (EFR) training within the last 24 months, you’re qualified for the rescue diver course.
The Rescue Diver course is the third level qualification in the American international system, following the Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) certification.
Learn how to reduce hazards and efficiently handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to help and transport divers, and how to perform surface and depth rescues for both boat and shore-based skin and scuba divers.
It depends. Divers who are Fire/Rescue employees are compensated by their department. Volunteer Fire/Rescue doesn’t.
There’s no minimum dives required however, you do need to have your Advanced certification.
To become a certified PADI Rescue Diver, you must be at least
• 12 years old.
• Become an Adventure Diver who has completed the Underwater Navigation Dive.
•Have completed the Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care course within the past 24 months.
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or an equivalent qualification from another organization).
• You must have valid first aid and CPR certification from within the last 24 months. These requirements are met by the Emergency First Response (EFR) course. – Examine this medical form to see whether you are fit to dive.

- Forms & Waivers: Before diving everybody needs to fill in and sign some forms. You can fill your paperwork here before time and be sure you are ready for your underwater adventure.
- Dive Equipment: Your diving gears, including dive computer and underwater camera (if you rent), have been reserved.
- Dive Time: You’re all set for your scheduled dive. Be sure to get a bit early to be picked up at your hotel.
