Short description about the package
If you wanna upskilling your proficiency with going deep in scuba, this dive course is the most suitable for you! During Deep Diver program, you will learn how to organize deep dives, control your air usage, and recognize and treat nitrogen narcosis underwater.
This program will takes 2 full days as you will get personal experience with our pro-instructor in a group consists of maximum 4 persons. When scuba diving under 18 meters/60 feet, more safety precautions need to be taken. Your PADI Instructor will assist you in gaining the knowledge and self-assurance necessary to explore to a maximum depth of 40 meters (130 feet) during the Deep Diver.

Itinerary
Day 1
- On the first day, you will learn the basic fundamental theory and have one dive into 18 meters.
- You will practice descents, buoyancy, and safety stops over four deep dives as part of the PADI Deep Diver course in Komodo with a PADI instructor. You will learn how color, tangible items, and your brain are affected by deep dives through practical tasks.
- At 6 am, You will be picked up by hotel or you can meet us at Dive Tribe, diving center in Labuan Bajo
Start your dive course training and a deep dive session - You will allow to learn about deep dives basic information, procedures, and tips for about 2-4 hours
- At approximately, 3-4 pm you will finish your training, dive, and rest
Day 2
- At 6 am, You will be picked up by hotel or you can meet us at Dive Tribe, diving center in Labuan Bajo
Then, we go to the harbour and will arrive by 7 am - You will do two deep dives to experience the deeper dive within max. 40 meters with your pro PADI instructor
- At 3-4 pm, you will get your PADI certification and go back to the hotel.

Cancellation & policies
– Cancellations received before 13:00 on the day prior to the activity booked will not incur a cancellation fee.
– Cancellations received after 13:00 on the day prior to the activity booked, will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of full booked activity cost.
– Cancellations received the same day of the departure for the activity booked, or failure to show (No Show) will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of full activity booked cost.
– Please note that the Dive Centre closes at 18:00 and cancellations incurred after this time will be considered as received on the next day.
Note: Reservations cancelled due to bad weather will not incur a cancellation fee, and customers can choose to either reschedule or receive a full refund for the activity.

The PADI® Deep Diver course teaches you how to plan deep dives, manage your gas supply, and diagnose and manage narcosis. You will learn about buddy contact protocols, safety precautions, and buoyancy control at depth.
According to the PADI certifying agency, if you are doing your Open Water course and you are over 12 years old, you can dive to 18 meters/60 feet depth. If you are still a junior (from 10 to 12 years old), the maximum depth is 12 meters/40 feet.
Your PADI Deep Diver course begins by studying the reasons for deep diving and the importance of understanding your personal limits. During four deep dives stretched across two days, you’ll cover: Equipment designed specifically for deep diving. Deep dive planning, buddy contact protocol, and buoyancy control.
If you’re ready to expand your boundaries, a PADI Instructor will help you gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet.
You will get certified as a PADI Deep Diver, with a maximum depth of 40m/130ft and no stop limits.
PADI Master Scuba Diver™ rating is the highest level of recreational diving. It denotes significant experience and scuba training.
Deep diving is defined as any dive that is deeper than 60 feet/18 meters, with recreational scuba divers limited to 130 feet/40 meters. I limit my deep diving to 100 feet/30 meters since I prefer to use nitrox. If there is a wreck or something unusual beneath 100 feet, I switch to air.
PADI offers several diver levels, including the foundational Open Water Diver, followed by Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and the pinnacle non-professional certification, Master Scuba Diver.
